Abstract:  In order to evaluate the performance of logistics service process, its characteristic is analyzed. Then, a comprehensive performance evaluation index system is proposed. There are three layers in the system: result layer, operation layer, and strategy layer. Thus, it has three indexes at the first level. These three indexes are divided into seven indexes at the second level, which are further divided into 30 indexes at the third level. With this index system, the analytic network process (ANP) method is applied for performance evaluation. Superdecision software package is used to perform the evaluation. It provides a quantitative performance evaluation method. An example is presented to show the application of the proposed approach. Results demonstrate that the application of ANP can improve the evaluation accuracy.
