Abstract: For some mold manufacturing enterprises, directcarving is the key process and machines for such a process is expensive. Thus, it is very important to have an appropriate capacity for this process. To do so, with requirement prediction, the problem is formulated as an integer programming. This problem can be solved in an exact way in reasonable time duration by using Lingo package. With the proposed method, a capacity planning system is developed based on LINGO and SQL2005.
