On Standard Operation Time for Mould Production Based on Clustering Analysis and Statistical Analysis

Abstract: Due to the wide varieties of mould products and the lack of structure similarity, it is difficult to set the standard operation times in mould production. To deal with this problem, based on clustering analysis and statistical analysis, an estimation method is proposed. By this method, with the actual man-hour information collected from an enterprise as basic data, a clustering analysis model is constructed for the process to classify the products. In addition, a statistical analysis model is constructed to establish the statistical distribution of operation times and standard operation times. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method is verified by an industrial case problem. 
