Abstract:

As customer arrival time is taken into third-party logistic service pricing decision when third-party logistic enterprises take rural “freight route” logistic services mode, optimal service pricing policies are studied. Influences of different parameters varying independently on optimal profit margin, consolidation cycle and service price are analyzed. Studies show that when holding cost increases, consolidation cycle is shortened and service price at the same time increases. When time sensitivity coefficient becomes larger, consolidation cycle is shortened and service price at the same time increases. When profit margin is positively correlated with holding cost, it is positively correlated with time sensitivity coefficient. When profit margin is negatively correlated with holding cost, it is negatively correlated with time sensitivity coefficient. Theoretical references may be provided for third party logistic service pricing policies.
