    Obstacle Avoidence Path Planning for Robot Arm Based on Mixed Algorithm of Artificial Potential Field Method and RRT

    To solve the problem of artificial potential field algorithm being liable to fall into local minimum in the obstacle avoidance path planning of industrial robot arm, a combination of artificial potential field and improved Rapidly-exploring Random Tree (RRT) algorithm is applied. Firstly, artificial potential field algorithm is used in local obstacle avoidance path planning. When falling into local minimum, the improved RRT algorithm can adaptively select the temporary target point and make the search process jump out of the local minimum point. In addition, artificial potential field algorithm will be applied when the robot arm leaves the local minimum. This method not only achieves obstacle avoidance on the end effector of the robot arm, but also prevents the collision between the rod and the obstacle, eventually bringing the end effector to the target point. The simulation experiments show that the proposed method is simple and can adapt to the change of environment and is still effective in complex environment.The algorithm can satisfy the requirement of the obstacle avoidance of the robot arm. Finally, the experimental results show the consistency between the actual and the simulation results.

    Assembly line is a common form of production in manufacturing enterprises,and the efficiency of assembly line directly affects the production of the whole production line.The balance rate of production,the balance loss rate and the smoothness index are used as the parameters to evaluate the production balance,and the basic IE method is used to solve the balance problem in the production line.On the basis of the production line balance principle,the production balance index of A 3 assembly line is calculated on the basis of the actual working hours,and IE method used to analyze and improve the assembly line.To prove the IE method is scientific and effective,Flexsim software is used.After improvement,the production line balance rate increases from 67.24% to 93.89%,the smoothness index decreases from 8.69 to 1.26.Thus it can be seen that the effect of improvement is significant.

    “Higher reliability, less failure” features of mechanical products or system make reliability assessment more difficult. To address this problem, an evaluation method of small sample of three parameter Weibull distribution is proposed based on the data of failure of mechanical reliability. Based on the determination of life distribution model, the failure data of small sample is estimated by using the grey estimation method, and the goodness of fit test is carried out, then Bayes prior distribution obtained by Monte Carlo sample as a parameter. On this basis, the three- parameter posterior distribution can be calculated by Bayes formula, and then the system reliability, failure rate and so on are derived, to evaluate the mechanical reliability of small sample failure data more accurately. The effectiveness of the method is verified by a practical example.

    E-commerce Customer Churn Prediction based on Customer Segmentation and AdaBoost

    In order to identify the high value customers as well as improve the prediction accuracy of non-churn customers, the high value customer groups are identified by K-mediods clustering and the churn data processed with improved SMOTE (synthetic minority oversampling teachnique), which combines oversampling and undersampling methods to balance the datasets and generates the certain size of positive and negative samples by setting sampling ratio and controlling the model training time, then AdaBoost algorithm is employed to predict. At last, an empirical study on B2C E-commerce platform shows that the integrated model has better efficiency and higher prediction precision compared with the mature customer churn prediction algorithms, such as BP Neural, SVM (support vector machine) and CW-SVM (class weighted support vector machine). Meanwhile, the prediction model of e-commerce customer churning based on customer segmentation has been proved to have better prediction performance.

    To solve the problems of the low balance efficiency of automobile chassis production line, unreasonable layout and lack of information flow, the production process is restructured using the tool of value stream map. In other words, by introducing the U-shaped line and visual management and adopting flexible mode of production operation, the terminal supermarket of raw materials and products is set up. At last, as can be seen, the line balance efficiency is increased from 71.1% to 93.9%, the increment rate from 4.2% to 9.87%, the machining efficiency increased from 4.3% to 11%.

    A Single-level Mixed-integer Programming Model for the Competitive Facility Location Problem

    The classic facility location problem, based on the assumption of space monopoly, does not consider the existence of competition facilities. However, in application, companies have to consider rivals when making location decisions. Therefore, a competitive facility location problem is studied. A discrete network is considered, in which two players (a leader and a follower) sequentially located a fixed number of facilities, competing to capture market share. Each customer sought the nearest facility for service. The leader had to solve a bilevel linear programming problem in which the lower level was NP hard, given the leader's decision, and the follower was faced with the classical maximum covering location. It is assumed that the follower used the greedy addition algorithm and formulated a single-level mixed-integer programming model that embedded the follower's response into the leader's constraints. The proposed model is verified and the condition of the optimal solution given. The model is also solved using the optimization solver Gurobi 6.5, which was able to generate suboptimal solutions for instances with 40 nodes in a short time.

    Dynamic synchronization of Production-Logistics (PL) in kitting manufacturing enterprise is studied.Considering the PL system which includes multi-Plant,a Packing workshop and a Warehouse and aiming at the multi-dimension influence brought by dynamics in kitting manufacturing,an analysis is conducted into the dynamic effect scope in production logistics operation process,extending the AUTOM information infrastructure to a multi-level,multi-stagedynamic kitting synchronization information framework adapted to PL,and then introducing a kitting-manufacturing-adapted three-tier,two-stage kitting synchronization mechanism.Finally,with the order data extracted from the PL system of a chemical manufacturing enterprise,adopting GA-based target cascading (ATC) method,the dynamic caused by customer demand changes is solved.Result shows the optimization result from ATC-based kitting synchronization performance is better than AIO-based kitting synchronization and un-kitting synchronization,with not only kitting standard increased but system total cost also declined.In the PL of a kitting manufacturing enterprise,this solution provides an effective application framework and feasible method to enforce the precise plan formulation and adaptive decision-making of a big kitting manufacturing enterprise.

    The basic flow of human factor ergonomic analysis is proposed in order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the man-machine system optimization based on the characteristics and key technologies of virtual simulation software Jack. An empirical analysis method is adopted to optimally design double-layer bed in students' dormitory of Harbin University of Commerce, and the effect is improved prominently. On this basis, the difficulties of adopting Jack for human factor ergonomic analysis are summarized. Corresponding solutions are proposed. The proposed human factory ergonomic analysis concepts and skills have stronger maneuverability, which can be widely used in design, analysis and evaluation of man-machine systems.

    The optimal workers scheduling of assembly line considering the differences in worker assembly levels and the flow distribution between different workstations was analyzed. After determining the sort of mixed flow assembly line, the assembly worker worked in the workstation where she/he was good at and took part in the assembly work of other stations after completing the work in this workstation. An optimized mathematical model of mixed-flow assembly line workers considering the difference in workstation efficiency and flow distribution was established after the definition of the relevant optimization factor variables and constraints. The peak sharpening algorithm and multiple population migration algorithm were adopted for the adjustment of the workers and balance optimization, and then a three-layer neural network to evaluate peak cutting the location choice was used to obtain the optimal allocation of workers. Finally, an example was given to verify the listed model with Matlab, and two assembly workers were reduced and the assembly line balance rate was increased.

    In order to reduce the cost of advertising investment for businesses, and optimize the shopping experience of users in the e-commerce platform, the massive real data provided by Ali "Tianchi Big Data" platform is applied and a machine learning model is built and trained with the target of advertising conversion rate. By analyzing the model learning results, the influencing factors and effects of search advertising conversion rate are explored. The results show that store logistics services, advertising product sales, consumer preferences, and the degree of intelligence of e-commerce platforms have a greater impact on conversion rates. At the same time, all the influencing factors are classified and analyzed in the four dimensions of users, shops, advertising products and advertising contexts. Based on this, the advertisement serving strategy based on the platform and the merchant perspectives is proposed to provide reference for the e-commerce platform and its resident merchants.

    Aiming at hierarchical medical service between public hospitals, a duopoly game model is established based on patients' rational perception of healthcare service. The model studies the strategic choices of different grade hospitals that face the same disease treatment under co-regulation of government and healthcare market. The sub-game perfect Nash equilibrium is applied in the analysis of the profit trade off between two hospitals. Results show that hospitals can differentiate quality and price of service to get optimal profits and that government can differentiate reimbursement ratio to promote bypass of patients in third-grade hospital. The research can support pricing and reimbursement decision making of medical treatment for public hospitals.

    Faced with the difficulty of automobile quality and chaotic rankings of vehicles, a comprehensive evaluation model on economy of quality of automobile using extended VIKOR is developed to assist car consumers in decision-making of purchasing. The economy of quality indexes including product quality, after-sales quality and total ownership cost are addressed. Due to multiple sources of evaluation information and uncertainty of certain indexes, the mixed types of indexes including crisp value, interval number and linguistic variables are introduced to the evaluation framework. The rough set-based attribute reduction technique is employed to delete the redundant criteria, which facilitates key indexes establishment. According to the European distance analysis for mixed indexes, the anti-entropy-based technique is used to obtain criteria weights, and the best vehicle alternative is recommended with the minimum group utility value. The case study verifies that the proposed method contributes to intelligent recommendation for vehicle consumers. A comparative analysis indicates that car users tend to select cheaper vehicles without considering operation cost. However, when taking the total ownership cost into account, they prefer to choose vehicles with top priority concerning economy of quality rather than cheap ones, which caters to practical scenarios.

    Two-echelon Supply Chain Production and Inventory Decision under Carbon Emission Constraint

    To explore how to make decisions based on different carbon policies to achieve the goal of minimizing the total cost, two-echelon supply chain production and inventory decision is considered under the three carbon policy constraints. Through a detailed study of the models under different carbon policies, it is proved that for the cooperative two-echelon supply chain companies, adopting a reasonable carbon policy can significantly reduce carbon emissions without significantly increasing the total costs. Meanwhile, under the policy of carbon cap-and-trade, the carbon's price is raising which stimulates enterprises to reduce carbon emission. Under the policy of carbon cap, it is found that the lower and upper bounds of E and the carbon emission can be strictly controlled. Also the carbon cap and trade policy can make the production of enterprises more flexible. Finally, these conclusions are verified by numerical experiments.

    Based on the mass production mode intelligent workshop, the scheduling problem of multi-AGV (automated guided vehicle) under single-loop layout is studied. Firstly, the characteristics of typical intelligent workshops are analyzed. Meanwhile, a simulation model based on actual production scenarios is established by the Plant Simulation platform. Secondly, the AGV scheduling rules based on soft time windows and six operating mechanisms based on alternative scheduling rule set are proposed. Finally, through the designed simulation experiment, the seven scheduling rules above are analyzed and compared. The experimental results show that the AGV scheduling method based on soft time window generally performs better, which provides decision support for enterprise configuring and scheduling AGV vehicles.

    The environmental value stream is constructed, which facilitates value stream management analysis of the operation efficiency as well and environmental efficiency. In addition, the integration of simulation and environmental value stream improves the objectivity of future value stream mapping. By applying the theory to one motor factory's production process of stator and rotor, the production problems are identified in environmental value stream management from time and energy consumption, and then the IE tools and Flexsim simulation are applied. The implementation effect not only includes inventory reduction as well as ratio increase of value-added time, but also contains easing the influence of production to environment.

    To address problems induced by the assembly to order (ATO) production in industrial park, e.g. production logistics information synchronization and high operation cost, the "three-stage two-degree" production logistics synchronization (PLS) control mechanism was proposed based on Internet of Thing. Using simulation analysis of the cooperative optimization algorithm, it showed that 1) the earlier is the order dynamic, the more obvious is the benefit of synchronization control; 2) that the synchronization control across enterprises in industrial park can effectively help reduce logistics costs; and 3) that the later the dynamic happens and the bigger is the demand order, the more difficult the synchronization control will be, but its economic benefits will be better relative to un-synchronization.

    Against the background of sluggish global economic recovery and "double down" of foreign trade in recent years,efficiency determines the development of ports as an important part of the global supply chain.Applying the panel data derived from 9 ports in the Pearl River Delta region from the year of 2010 to 2014,the efficiency of the Pearl River Delta ports is empirically analyzed by conducting the three-stage DEA model.The results indicate,(1) that the comprehensive efficiency of ports in Pearl River Delta region is low;(2) that the low comprehensive efficiency is attributed to the scale inefficiency;and (3) that the comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the port in the Pearl River Delta region have been increasing in recent years,but the rise is relatively small.

    The Effect of Display Movement Speed on Visual Fatigue in Dynamic Visual Search Tasks

    The study aimed to investigate the effect of display movement speed on visual fatigue in dynamic visual search tasks. The movement speed had five levels: 0°/s, 2°/s, 4°/s, 6°/s, and 8°/s. The visual fatigue was measured by critical flicker frequency (CFF). The analysis of variance (ANOVA) results indicated that for dynamic visual search tasks, the main effects of movement speed and search time point on visual fatigue were significant and their interaction effect was also significant. Within 40min search time, visual fatigue increased as search time increased. When performing search tasks after 40 minutes, the visual fatigue became steady. The visual fatigue at 0°/s showed no significant difference with that at 2°/s. When the movement speed was in the range of 2°/s to 6°/s, the visual fatigue increased as movement speed increased. The visual fatigue at 6°/s showed no significant difference with the visual fatigue at 8°/s.

    In order to solve the problems of low production efficiency and high labour costs in a mobile phone housing inspection line, the bottleneck of inspection line is analyzed based on the data obtained from work measurement and Flexsim simulation technology. From two aspects of the operation mode and the workstation layout, the inspection line is optimized and re-designed by using method engineering. With the help of Flexsim, simulation test is carried out to evaluate the implementation effect of the optimization scheme. In the case of cost reduction, the workstation load and production efficiency are improved after the adoption of the new scheme. The results show that the combination of IE method and simulation technology can make the improvement of the manufacturing system more effective.

    Warranty is the primary coverage of equipment after-sale service, and reasonable warranty servicing strategy has significant impact on manufacturer's warranty cost and the product availability. A two-dimensional warranty cost and availability model is developed under preventive maintenance and the solving process proposed, where the function of failure rate is given by accelerated failure time (AFT) model. By modeling the warranty cost and product availability, the optimum warranty servicing strategy is derived to minimize the cost-effect ratio. Then, regression analysis with optimal cost-effect under different warranty regions is used to derive the flexibility warranty servicing strategy. Finally, a numerical illustration is given to examine the validity of the model.
