    Abstract ( 4237 )   Save
A comprehensive classification framework of organizational factors is developed by combining the existing categories and those from questionnaires. There are three main categories: organizational strategy and goals, organizational structure, and organizational culture. With the proposed classification framework,71 reports of human factor incidents in a nuclear power plant from 2000 to 2003 are analyzed.Based on the analysis, the critical factors are identified. Moreover, the categories of organizational factors relative to safety are obtained with R-type clustering.

    Abstract ( 3899 )   Save
In the principalmembers strategic alliance, the members can be encouraged to give up hiding information by means of profit distribution and technology sharing. The effect of profit distribution and technology sharing on the successfulness of such an alliance is analyzed. It shows that when the principal shares technology with its members equally and distributes more profit to the more capable members, the members will expose their private information. In this way,the alliance will succeed.

    Abstract ( 4415 )   Save
Various decision makers have different personalities and different acceptances on opinions.Based on the Deffuant mode,an evolutionary model of the members’ personalities is designed. The simulation experiments show that as the increase of the number of nonassertive, paranoid, and stubborn individuals, the steps to reach consistency are increased, also the final opinion consistency degree decreases. This implies that decision makers’ personalities have significant effects on opinion evolution.

    Zhang Ke-yong1,2, Zhou Guo-hua1
    2011, 14 (1):  28-32.
    Abstract ( 4986 )   Save
Based on the game theory, the differential price coordination is addressed in this paper for a closed-loop supply chain with third-party collection of used products.First, the decentralized and centralized differential pricing models are established. With them, the optimal pricing strategy and the optimal profit for the members in a closed-loop supply chain are analyzed. Then,it is found that efficiency is lost in the decentralized closed-loop supply chain. Finally,it puts forward a profitsharing coordination contract to coordinate the closedloop supply chain, which makes the profit of the decentralized closed-loop supply chain equal to that of the integrated closed-loop supply chain.

    Abstract ( 4218 )   Save
A driver’s ability of perceiving and comprehending traffic signs is affected by his/her mental workload and the information volume of the traffic signs. In this paper,a novel method is proposed to determine the information volume.By a simulation experiment for the process of driving to the destinations with the guide of traffic signs in Beijing,it is shown that the proposed method fits the subjective rating of the information volume well.Further analysis indicates that 1) the effect of the information volume is insignificant,2) the effect of mental workload on sign identification rate, decision time, accuracy, and confidence ratings is significant, and 3) the effect on perceived task load and sign detection time is insignificant.
