Abstract:
To address the practical issues of distinct objectives and loose correlation between digital-intelligent transformation and servitization in equipment manufacturing enterprises during their parallel advancement, an effective matching model between digital-intelligent technology functions and service types for such enterprises is constructed from the perspective that the effective matching of these two elements can promote the integration of the two transformations. The model aims to achieve optimal adaptation between them and maximize value creation through digital-intelligent enabled service types, with corresponding solution methods provided. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed theoretical framework and methods are verified through a case study. Research results indicate that the matching between digital-intelligent technology functions and service types is a key factor for the integration of digital-intelligent transformation and servitization in equipment manufacturing enterprises; the two-sided matching model can realize the effective matching of digital-intelligent technology functions and service types; and the outcome of such effective matching is presented in the form of digital-intelligent enabled servitization. Compared with existing studies, the two-sided matching theory is introduced, the role of matching effectiveness in promoting the integration of digital-intelligent transformation and servitization is clarified, and an operable theoretical model and decision-making basis are provided for equipment manufacturing enterprises to achieve in-depth integration and development of the two transformations.
