Abstract: By using the methods of augment dickey fuller (ADF) and cointegration tests, this paper conducts a comprehensive study on cointegration relationships between regional economic indicators and regional logistics demands in Jiangsu province. The causal test of regional economic indicators and regional logistics demand indicators is made to reflect their cointegration relationship. Then, the causal relation types are defined. In this way, it identifies the regional economic development indicators that promote the regional logistics demands in Jiangsu province. These indicators include regional GDP, GDP of the primary industry, GDP of the secondary industry, the total fixed asset investment, the total retail sales of consumer goods, and income per capita.
