Abstract:
As high costs and low profits have become a major bottleneck of the development of Chinas medicine logistics industry, research on the methods of manually picking cost for medical logistics center is beneficial to corporate profitability. A basic model is presented based on analysis of influencing factors for picking process of logistics centers. The relationship between roadway number and number of zones is studied using MATLAB simulation. The result shows that: (1) having partitions is better than having no partitions, and that under normal circumstances, having two partitions is the best; (2) with more than two partitions, picking time will gradually increase; (3) in the case of fixed number of roadways and selection entries, more partitions will be better; (4) when there are more than 96 selection entries, having three partitions is the best choice.
