Abstract:
Based on the panel data of 58 listed companies in the Pearl River Delta from 2012 to 2016, the influence of media attention on the Corporate Social Responsibility Information Disclosure (CSRID) of the Pearl River Delta listed companies is examined through empirical methods. The research shows that media attention significantly affects Corporate Social Responsibility Information Disclosure in general, and media attention is positively related to the CSRID of state-owned enterprises, while it is negatively related to the CSRID of non-state-owned enterprises.
