Abstract
To serve for the education of industrial engineering major, an intelligent maintenance scheduling experimental platform for a serial production system with limited buffer is developed. The experimental platform consists of two modules: maintenance scheduling computing and maintenance scheduling demonstration modules. Based on an intelligent maintenance scheduling model for serial production system with limited buffers, three different strategies are adopted for maintenance scheduling in Maintenance Scheduling Computing Module by using Matlab. The Maintenance Scheduling Demonstration Module is based on Flexsim simulator. With this platform, experiments, such as analysis of maintenance scheduling parameters, analysis of maintenance scheduling policies, maintenance scheduling simulation, etc., can be carried out, and optimization model of maintenance scheduling related parameters can be established.
