Abstract: Multiple electronic products were manufactured on an existing production line in a company. The changeover time was long, resulting in low productivity. To increase the productivity, six-sigma is used to analyze the production process, workers’ operations, tools used, and task times. Based on the analysis, the production process and the tools used are redesigned, and the workers’ operations and task times are standardized. Further, visual management is realized by using Kanban. In this way, the changeover time is significantly reduced and the productivity is significantly increased.
