1. Copyright Notice
1) If an article is accepted by the Industrial Engineering journal, the rights for compilation, distribution, reproduction, and dissemination via information networks will be transferred to the Industrial Engineering editorial office, which are applicable worldwide.
2) After publication of an article, the authors retain the rights to attribution, integrity of the work, and modification. The first author will be the representative of copyright. Additionally, the article cannot be re-published in any form of the same language in other journals (including print, CD, online, and other media). Any compilation of personal works (including web pages) or anthologies that use the article and its format must indicate the source.
3) Manuscripts that pass the final review by the editor-in-chief will be first published online on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) digital platform (www.cnki.net). If the authors do not agree to the electronic dissemination of their manuscript, they must include a statement with their submission; otherwise, electronic publication will be considered agreed upon.
2. Access to Electronic and Print Copies
1) Industrial Engineering is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal. All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). According to the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, all articles are published in an open-access format. Once published, the articles are immediately available and permanently accessible for free on the official website (https://iej.gdut.edu.cn). Users are allowed to read, download, copy, print, search, or link to the full text of the articles, or use them for other lawful purposes. All users accessing articles from this journal must adhere to the CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. This license permits users to copy and distribute articles under the following conditions:
a. Use for non-commercial purposes only; further modification, editing, or dissemination of the article is not allowed.
b. Users must have appropriate credentials (with a link to the official publication via DOI) and provide a link to the license, but must not in any way imply that the licensor endorse them or their use of the work.
c. Distribution of derivative products, including reassembling, transforming, or reconstructing materials based on existing research, is not permitted.
2) After publication, the editorial office will provide two free printed copies of the current issue to the authors.
3) Libraries, companies, research institutions, readers, etc. must subscribe to purchase printed copies.
