An Ergonomics Evaluation of Remote Monitoring Console Based on Jack

Abstract: In order to improve the work comfort of the remote monitoring operator, the research object of this paper is the remote monitoring center console of DK company. The theoretical basis is ergonomics. Using the Jack software, the digital human model is established, and the remote monitoring console is simulated. The comfort and fatigue of digital people are tested to find out the problems, and the improvement methods are proposed. The results show that the digital comfort can be significantly improved by optimizing the structure and size of the seat and installing the foot pad for the digital person.
