Abstract:

In the remanufacturing closedloop supply chain practices, recycling used products is a critical activity, and is also a difficult point. The technology of radio frequency identification (RFID) is introduced into the recycling activities of waste products, assuming that it can increase the recycling rate while taking corresponding costs. In order to compare the effects before and after using RFID, both centralized and decentralized supply chain models are created with different participants in waste product collection. And the impacts of scaling parameter for additional increased recovery rate with RFID, RFID tag cost and fixed cost on the pricing decisions and the profits of participants in different models are all analyzed.
