Abstract: In order to clarify the influence of supply chain parameters on stability of VMI cooperation, a revenue model considering demand amplification, change of ordering and inventory costs is built and an orthogonal experiment is introduced into multi-parameter sensitivity analysis to confirm that enterprises with different characteristics on different positions in supply chain have different tendencies to VMI cooperation. It is found that enterprises on downstream of supply chain have willingness to VMI and their intentionality is negatively correlated with their inventory management level, but those with excellent operation level are more likely to find cooperation partners. However, upstream enterprises on supply chain are cautious about VMI, and the higher the level of operation is, the less likely they are to cooperate, hence the poorer stability of VMI.
