Abstract:  It is very important to effectively manage the data for motor engines.With requirement analysis of automobile enterprises conducted,a data classification method is proposed and a data management model for motor engines is developed.Based on the model,an engine database management system is developed.Some issues faced in the development of the data system,such as data security issue,are pointed out and solutions for them are proposed.
