Abstract: The automobile information display interface layout and design in intelligent driving situation is discussed. In the pre-experiment section, users' views on the match of information and display areas were collected in the form of Focus Group to collect qualitative data. In the formal experiment section, six designed interface prototypes were tested on Eprime software: 1) Satisfaction of the prototypes was scored by the Likert 7 quantization table; 2) Forced-choice test was taken to choose one prototype from two of the prototypes which were displayed randomly. According to the experimental results of the two parts, the evaluation of prototype 4 was the highest. The research indicates that different information should be placed in the appropriate display areas. The interface of area 1 can be designed according to the ideas provided by prototype 4. The interface of other areas can be experimented and designed according to the methods described in this paper.
