Simulation Study on Opinion Evolutions in Mixed Personality Groups

Abstract

Abstract: Various decision makers have different personalities and different acceptances on opinions.Based on the Deffuant mode,an evolutionary model of the members’ personalities is designed.The simulation experiments show that as the increase of the number of nonassertive,paranoid,and stubborn individuals,the steps to reach consistency are increased,also the final opinion consistency degree decreases.This implies that decision makers’ personalities have significant effects on opinion evolution.
