A Crosssectional Study of Occupational Musculoskeletal Disorders in Online Store Employees

Abstract:

The distribution and influencing factors of MSDs around onlineshop employees are under study and suggestions for improvement proposed. Using a Musculoskeletal disorders questionnaire, it is found that the annual prevalence reached 94.7%. As onlineshop employees must spend a long time working in front of the computer, they suffer the highest incidences of neck and shoulder disorders. So the enterprise should design office layout and HMI scientifically in the view of ergonomics. As for onlineshop employees, they should adjust their work postures and have reasonable and frequent changes, and then try to take frequent coffee breaks. Meanwhile, some physical therapies also have effect to alleviate and treat MSDs.
