Knowledge Flow Analysis for Ignition Coil Production by Using Value Stream Mapping

摘要: 以点火线圈制造企业为案例,运用价值流图分析法绘制出该企业内部知识流的现状图及未来状态图。以未来状态图为指引,分析点火线圈制造过程中知识流存在的问题,通过引入连续流和提高知识编码水平等方法,消除制造过程中的信息阻塞。使得线平衡率提高了22.3%,知识流周期缩短了20 d。实践结果表明:企业内部知识流分析是提高企业生产效率的良方,价值流图析技术是在制造流程中提高知识编码水平、消除信息阻塞、降低库存、形成流畅知识流的一个有效工具。

Abstract: It is known that there is significant profit gain if the production knowledge is well-managed. The objective of this paper is to analyze the knowledge flow for the production process of an ignition coil in a company. By using the value stream mapping technique, the current and future state diagrams of the knowledge flow are drawn, which reveal the existing flaws in knowledge management for the production process. Then, based on the knowledge flow analysis, the production process is redesigned such that the process is continuous and the level of knowledge coding is increased. Consequently, information barrage is eliminated, line balance is increased by 223%, and knowledge flow cycle is shortened by 20 days. This is a significant improvement. Although the analysis is done for a case problem, the method can be applied to other production processes.
