Abstract: After brief introduction of the usability definition,the design principle of the Solid User Interface is discussed.By focusing on the linkage control panels of the port machinery cab,usability for the existing system is analyzed.Then,by using the theory and technology of ergonomics,the location of the panels,the layout of the interface,and the colors of the control components are optimized to improve the overall usability.
