A Study of Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation for Water Quality Assessment Based on Rough Set Theory
An Yan, Zou Zhi-hong, Wang Xiao--jing
    2015, 18 (1):  1-05.
    Abstract ( 1778 )   Save
Due to the subjectivity of selecting indexes and the difficulty of calculating parameter weights, rough set is introduced to perform attribute reduction to eliminate irrelevant and unimportant parameters. Attribute importance degree in rough set is applied to determine the weights of the parameters after attribute reduction. Then, a fuzzy synthetic evaluation is used to assess water quality. It is found that the results by this method are almost the same as those by traditional fuzzy synthetic evaluation. In addition, rough set attribute reduction and determining weights by attribute importance degree can reduce input space dimensions and simplify the process of water quality assessment.

    2015, 18 (1):  11-16.
    Abstract ( 1690 )   Save
To quantitatively analyze the energy-saving design of hydraulic cylinder, the energy consumption in the whole life cycle is considered as the research object. Combining life cycle with modularization analysis, a topological structure of hydraulic cylinder is built according to the extenics theory, and the concept of energy-saving design unit is put forward. The indexes of cost, environment and efficiency are considered to analyze and evaluate energy-saving design unit step by step to obtain the optimal design scheme of energy saving. The results show that this method can accurately evaluate the synthetical indexes of energy-saving design unit at different levels and effectively control the energy consumption. Finally, the cylinder of a particular model hydraulic cylinder is taken as a case, by which the life cycle stage of parts machining is analyzed to prove the feasibility and practicability of the method.

    2015, 18 (1):  17-23.
    Abstract ( 1685 )   Save
The consistency of passengers′ visual information needs and information supplied by visual cues in virtual waiting plays a role in passengers′ way finding behavior. By controlling the consistency of two virtual cues (dynamic transport timetable & layout of ticket check) and users′ visual needs, a study is conducted into the time to complete the task, time to scan the timetable, and time to act as indicators to evaluate the function of visual cues in different ways, which provides a scientific basis for visual management in railway stations. The results show that passengers′ performance in wayfinding tasks are better when information sequence on the timetable and users′ visual coding needs are kept consistent. Besides, compared with layout of sequence and layout of parity, layout of AB is an ideal type of ticket check which can induce passengers′ spatial cognition in a relatively short time.

    2015, 18 (1):  31-36.
    Abstract ( 1790 )   Save
The multi-species balance and scheduling complexity of auto leveling production is explored according to the principle of leveling production. In view of the background, a mixed production transforms model based on the characteristics of the time period is built to solve the scheduling problem of multi-species flow, combining with the proportion of production reciprocal method. The process of getting a satisfactory scheduling solution is given and the effectiveness of the model verified, reducing the complexity of the actual production scheduling. A welding workshop of F Car Company, composed of two main welding lines to supply an adjustment line, is taken as an example. In a certain period of time, according to the market demand and the company sales demand fluctuation, an appropriate production sequence was given. Through the optimization of the switching point between models, the dynamic demand of customers is fulfilled and the production system made more flexible. The results can be used by industry practitioners to improve production capacity and flexibility, assisting in achieving reasonable competitiveness.

A Study of Workload Distribution and COI-based Storage Policies
    Li Ming-kun, Zhang Yang-ping
    2015, 18 (1):  37-41.
    Abstract ( 3650 )   Save
Optimal storage assignment policies are essential for warehouses. The COI-based storage policy concerns with picking productivity, and so products in small batches but with frequent orders would be stored close to the exit of the warehouse. However, the workload imbalance among different aisles reduces the picking productivity in warehouses. Therefore, two advanced COI-based storage policies are advocated, with the aim of reducing workload imbalance among aisles. The problem is formulated by integer programming models with new constraints introduced. The problem is analyzed with real data and results indicate that satisfactory solutions are obtained, as in similar traveling distance, the advanced COI-based storage policies are more effective to reduce workload imbalance.

    Abstract ( 2029 )   Save
In order to analyze the decisions of independent retailers which are in different channels, an improved Hotelling model based on considering customers′ channel psychological preferences is built. With cost difference in purchasing product in different channels and when different applicability of product in online channel, an analysis is made on different change trends between online retailer and offline retailer in Game equilibrium prices, market shares and profits. The result shows that, with the increase of the applicability of product in online channel, difference of Game equilibrium price and market share will decrease, and the profits of offline channel retailer will decrease too and meanwhile, the profits of online retailer will increase. When the applicability of product in online channel is fixed, product which has good applicability of product in online channel will be affected by the cost of purchasing product in different channels, and consequently, will bring different prices and market shares between online retailer and offline retailer.

Two-stage VMI Supply Chain Coordination with Stock-dependent Demand for Products
    Tian Li-ping, Sun Qun
    2015, 18 (1):  84-89.
    Abstract ( 1830 )   Save
The coordination of one supplier and one retailer supply chain based on the product with stock-dependent demand under the environment of VMI(vendor managed inventory)mode is discussed in three steps. Firstly, a model of supply chain is established under centralized decision and the profit function of the whole supply chain worked out. Secondly, in the decentralized decision, the method of revenue sharing contract is used to coordinate the supply chain, according to the Stackelberg game. It is found that the method of revenue sharing contract cannot coordinate the supply chain. In the distribution of benefits, the retailer gain more benefits than supplier of the supply chain, and the total income of decentralized decision system is always lower than the centralized decision system. Finally, the method of Nash negotiation is used to coordinate Vendor Managed Inventory supply chain, with the profit of centralized decision-making achieved and Pareto improvement realized. Under the condition of stock-dependent demand, the conclusion is that the method of Nash negotiation can coordinate Vendor Managed Inventory supply chain and achieve the optimal profits. At last, the conclusion is verified by examples.

    2015, 18 (1):  119-127.
    Abstract ( 1720 )   Save
Aiming at the development characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), a performance evaluation model in the dimension of management status and development potential for SMEs is put forward and the model is validated analytical with 171 SMEs data from gem. Taking into account the large number of businesses, a typical business sample selection policy relying on the cluster analysis method is presented, and then dominance rough set theory incorporated into the performance evaluation model to provide the decision rules generation for SMEs performance evaluation by expert knowledge learning. Thus, a two-dimensional performance evaluation model for SMEs is constructed. The evaluation results show that there are few SMEs with both excellent status quo and development potential. In addition, the relationship between the quality of rough set classification algorithm and the size of training samples is discussed. Results show that there is over fitting phenomena in learning classification of rough set, i.e., increasing the number of training samples is not necessarily able to improve the learning quality of classification.

    2015, 18 (1):  128-134.
    Abstract ( 1715 )   Save
Performance management poses daunting challenges to organizations in terms of meeting multi-dimensional goals. To assess the overall performance of the enterprise in multiple criteria and make efficient decisions, a three-dimensional performance evaluation system is constructed. The targets of value, risk and cost are divided into elementary parts by using Value Focused Thinking and each part is assessed quantitatively. MACBETH procedure allows to express commensurate elementary performances and the weights of criteria and then to aggregate the elementary performances. In order to take the criteria interactions into account, 2-additive Choquet Integral is added to MACBETH procedure in the aggregation process. The system, which considers the consistency of different criteria and reflects the global performances in comprehensive ranges, effectively helps the enterprise to make decision in multiple criteria.

    2015, 18 (1):  135-141.
    Abstract ( 1686 )   Save
In consumer decision-making process, consumers evalute alternatives according to their expectation. This process has been regarded as a black box. In this study, 20 students participating in an online shopping experiment are recorded the brain activities. Event-related potentials (ERPs) are used to investigate consumers psychological process and neuromechanism in evlauation process. The results show that an essential component of ERPs, P300, is elicited in consumers evalutation process and distributed over almost all parietal and occipital regions. Products with expected attributes evoke higher amplitude of P300 than other products. P300 means that there is a similarity judgment when consumers evalute alternatives. Products in the stimulus evoke the knowledge and memory of specific products and activate the neurons in corresponding cortex areas. The higher similarity between the product and expectation is, the more likely for consumers to make purchase decision. Hence, the P300 may be a useful neural endogenous indicator of measuring consumers′ evaluation of products in marketing research.

Research on Innovation Diffusion Behavior in-Cluster Innovation Network Based on Social Network Theory
    Li Xing1, Jian Zhen-qiang2
    2015, 18 (1):  142-147.
    Abstract ( 1647 )   Save
An innovation diffusion model in cluster network is established from the perspective of social network theory, and the influence of the cluster innovation network structure on the diffusion of innovation behavior by using simulation technology. Research shows that the cluster network structure makes the diffusion efficiency of innovation information more higher, and the innovation diffusion process faster. At the same time, the social impact of cluster network has an important effect on the cluster innovation diffusion speed. When the sensitivity cluster subject to society is low, social effect will contribute to the diffusion of innovation information in the cluster network, and when the sensitivity cluster subject to society is relatively large, social effect will hinder the diffusion of innovative information in the cluster network.
