Abstract: MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) has become an increasingly important part of enterprise competitiveness. With regard to multi-skill employee scheduling problem of MRO multi-service centers, the multi-service center separate scheduling model and the multi-service center joint scheduling model are established with the aim of minimizing the total completion time. The model considers the match of employee's mastery of skills and task's skill requirements, and employees can use not only one skill in each task. Through the analysis of the model, it was found that when the number of tasks is fixed, the completion time and the number of workers change reversely; When the number of workers is certain, the task completion time and the number of tasks change in the same direction. When there are multiple service centers, the total scheduling time is less than that of the joint scheduling, which is mainly due to the increase of the transfer time and waiting time. The enterprise should take the separate scheduling strategy rather than joint scheduling strategy which can shorten the completion time and be more in line with the interests of the enterprise.
