Abstract: In order to solve the existing bus scheduling flaws of ignoring spatial distribution between line stations and low operation efficiency of the lines, a kind of scheduling model of single line based on commutation passenger flow is proposed, and the corresponding algorithm is designed to solve the scheduling model with the requirement of passenger flow in time and space. Lastly, a bus line of Mianyang City is used in an actual case analysis, and the result shows that in this way, the peak passenger overall time is reduced by 5 290.9 min, with the optimization efficiency as high as 13.93%, which indicates that the method can save the passenger travel time and improve the efficiency of the line.
