Abstract: The influence of age on the changes of dynamic visual lobe characteristics is explored. Using dynamic visual search tasks, a total of 138 samples are tested. The results show that age significantly affects the visual lobe area, the dynamic visual lobe area, dynamic visual lobe perimeter and shape factor which all decrease with the increase of age.The dynamic visual lobe characteristics are affected by the moving speed of the gaze point. With the increase of speed, the visual field range decreases and the shape of the dynamic visual lobe deviates from the circle. The results of this study can provide guidance for designing dynamic visual search tasks for different age groups.
