    Liu Zhixiong1, He Jingjing1, Zhang Yu2
    2015, 18 (6):  1-7.
    Abstract ( 798 )   Save
The efficiency of the handling operation line for general cargo is the basis of mechanical allocation, and the decisionmaking reference can be provided by the reasonable handling operation model. As to drop and pull transport mode of the carriage, general cargo handling characteristics are analyzed and a production site investigation is conducted. Considering the operation time and yard shift time of handling machines, a modeling method handling operation line with the carriage as operation unit is proposed, and an example is tested based on actual operation data. It is illustrated by the computational results that the relative errors between the model values and the actual values are less than 12%, and the absolute errors are no more than 20 tons per hour. The model is proved to be effective and provide the decision support for actual operation.

Buy-back Contract in Garment Industry Considering #br# Out-of-season Clothes Processing Channels
    Jian Ming, Zong Han,Li Yuan-yuan
    2015, 18 (6):  61-68.
    Abstract ( 798 )   Save

Considering the influence of sales price change and out-of-season clothes processing channels on the apparel supply chain, game theory is applied to present a two-echelon sales supply chain system with single ordering in an apparel supply chain on basis of the buy-back contract. A system analysis is taken for a better understanding about how the buy-back contract would have impact on the supply chain coordination in different time. The results suggest that the midterm buy-back or the final buy-back cannot achieve the optimization of supply chain system. But by setting reasonable wholesale prices and the buy-back prices in mid-term and final-term, the supply channel coordination can be achieved. The combination of reasonable prices and the dispose-down-to policy can bring an effective improvement on the expected channel profit in the centralized setting when dealing with out-of-season clothes. These results are also supported by a numerical example analysis.

    2015, 18 (6):  69-74.
    Abstract ( 789 )   Save

With the retailer‘s heterogeneous behavior preference, the production decision and coordination are studied. The utility function considering loss aversion and fairness is developed by using new decision-making reference point, and effect of the retailer’s loss aversion and fairness concerns about the optimal decision and supply chain coordination is studied. 〖JP2〗Theoretical analysis and numerical examples show that while wholesale prices meet different conditions, the retailer‘s loss aversion and fairness concerns show different effect on the optimal order. In the decentralized case, the supply chain cannot achieve system optimality, but both sides of the supply chain can achieve Pareto optimality by introducing the insurance contract.

    Abstract ( 745 )   Save
The decision-making problems of production and procurement with bi-directional option contracts in a decentralized supply chain consisting of one manufacturer and one retailer are studied. The retailer outsources products from the manufacturer and resells them to the end market with uncertain demand, and the manufacturers production yield is stochastic. The retailer can order products through bi-directional option contracts from the manufacturer, or implement instant order after the demand is realized, which is subject to random pricing. The manufacturers optimal production plan and the retailers optimal ordering strategy are studied; and the effects of changes in the price parameters of bidirectional option contracts, demand uncertainty, production yield volatility and instant price variability on the optimal operational strategies and performance of both participants are also analyzed.

    2015, 18 (6):  83-88.
    Abstract ( 789 )   Save

Grid system is regarded as the main source of urban life and production energy supply, once under a terrorist attack, it can lead to a series of chain reactions, and cause unexpected loss of life and property. Thus, it has become a desirable goal of the attackers. In order to avoid or reduce the grid system loss caused by an unexpected terrorist attack which is out of control, considering the limited defense resources, game theory is applied to the risk evaluation of the terrorist attack. First, based on degree and clustering coefficient method, the importance of each facility node in the grid is measured, and then, according to each facility node risk level, combined with the idea of zero sum game, loss probability and the allocation of defense resources of each node are established. A numerical example is introduced to validate the proposed method. It is theoretically confirmed that with the increase of the defense resources, more facility nodes can be allocated for defense resources, and defense resources allocated to each node increase correspondingly.

    Abstract ( 787 )   Save

Recent studies on project scheduling problem are usually considered as lacking resource constraint issue or just concentrat on makespan or resource utilization optimization. Considering the disadvantages of traditional modeling methods, such as lacking flexibility or owning solely a single optimization objective, a novel approach is presented to optimize the problem of resource-constrained multi-objective optimization in project scheduling. The objective is to minimize the makespan and cost, maximize the net present value and level the resource fluctuation as well. An initial project schedule is originally constructed based on topology sorting algorithm, which satisfies the time sequence constraint. As for those activities in conflict with each other in resource utilization, priority rule is adopted to solve the conflicts. A case study withdrawn from Patterson benchmark database is conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of this method. Particle swarm optimization algorithm is adopted to realize the optimization. During the calculation, random weight is used to make sure the randomization of particle swarm evolution, which prevents the algorithm from trapping into local optimization. Results show that, compared with the original solution, 20% makespan reduction, 11.17% cost reduction, 11.82% increase of the net present value, and 18.29% reduction of resource fluctuation are obtained based on the proposed approach. This research shows the ability of the proposed method in optimization of project scheduling considering makespan, cost, net present value and resource fluctuation as well.

Resource Leveling Based on Ant Colony Algorithm and MATLAB Optimization Decision

    2015, 18 (6):  125-129.
    Abstract ( 893 )   Save
The resource leveling problem has been shown to belong to NP-hard problem in combinatorial optimization. As the network becomes complex, it is difficult to solve the problem with traditional mathematical programming and the heuristic algorithms. The sum of standard deviation of resources is used as the measure of resource leveling, and a mathematical model of resource leveling optimization decisions is built. Secondly, using Matlab, design steps of ant colony algorithm are realized, and using ant colony algorithm, the scope of the non-critical process start work time determined, the ants randomly distributed in the feasible region. Then the ants will conduct global search and local search according to the transition probability, to solve the global optimization of resource leveling. Finally, a single resource leveling and multi-resource leveling are taken for examples, to verify the effectiveness of ant colony algorithm. The convergence speed of the algorithm is fast, and it overcomes the defects of traditional algorithm of easily falling into local optimum, and it is suitable for solving the problems of all resources leveling, with good generality. But the optimization model of this paper assumes that any activity must be in continuous construction, and in between all kinds of resources are independent of each other. It is often not consistent with actual situation, and future research can be further optimized, and the ant colony algorithm can be combined with other algorithms to solve the problem.

The Relationship Between Cost Structure and Market Structure in Remanufacturing System

    2015, 18 (6):  138-144.
    Abstract ( 771 )   Save
Both the ability of consumers to independently make buying decision and the cost structure determine the producing decision, and thus establish the market structure in remanufacturing system. This paper a game supply chain model, consisting of one original manufacturer and one third-party, is established to analyze how the cost structure influences producing decision, license fee, and market structure. The results indicate that the high cost of new product will compel OEM (orignal equiqment manufactuce) to give up production operation in the second stage; that simultaneous lower cost is the unique condition for hybrid market of new product and remanufactured product; that license fee is a rapier, controlling the consumer distribution between new product and remanufactured product.
